Also landing and using almost no throttle and let flap drag do the work. Also its key to set water rudder hot key/button for rev. David Murden. June 26, 20214 yr Thanks David, I found the DC-6 had a very intimidating feel to it, for me anyway, your document removes a lot of the daunting cockpit tasks in an easy to follow step-by-step…and it was great that you including crucial items like the fuel tank procedure in the “Cruise” mode, I would never have remembered that. No you did not, there are a few ways to start engines, I go auto lean then auto rich now and that will be in the next version. but there are a few ways to start them and also depends on the temp. Its best not to set the mixture to anything before start. If you have realestic setting the AFE does not set mixture to any setting.
