In any case I have bought this POS and that's me done. I have been had twice now on the store. Thats me done now buying on the in sim market place, and its getting to the point where I am done with the sim too. I said this would happen and MS ASOBO's response is...its not their job to curate planes. And they are correct. It's not their job to "test" every addon that finds its way into the store. It's YOUR job as consumer to make an informed decision, based on various factors - for example, based on the - hint, hint - reputation of the company selling the product. If the product doesn't deliver to your satisfaction, you'll have to take it up with the addon developer. I do think that Marketplace should implement a refund policy. Why should there not be a refund policy when the product not just isn't good but aparently doesn't meet the basic requirement of actually being flyable ?

Please buy a car from a dealership that does not work and then apply your logic when they tell you to go back to the manufacture, but its the dealership that took your money!
July 2, 20214 yr Microsoft is obviously liable for the products that they publish in their marketplace. The publisher has a responsibility to the customer that cannot be ignored, even if the publisher are selling MSFS addons Edited July 2, 20214 yr by wims80 vatsim s3
July 2, 20214 yr I’m not sure this is so much a case of liability or a clear cut MS/Asobo are ‘responsible’ for bad content (well perhaps some laws like the UK example listed above could apply). But even putting all legal arguments aside, it’s not really the wisest business decision on MS/Asobo’s part to NOT intervene and at the very least provide a refund mechanism. The Marketplace has a value both to them and the consumer: They get revenue from a percentage of sales, and we get convenience of a single place to shop. If, however, we all lose confidence in it, that could very easily overshadow the convenience and we’ll purchase elsewhere. I would bet the revenue lost from refunding a few bad apples would pale in comparison to the loss from a more widespread distrust and a larger mass of people deciding not to use the marketplace. Sounds like a Business 101 topic.

Are you and a few others here with some enlightened views aware that I buy mostly everything that comes out for the sake of providing initial impressions and a review to the MSFS Forums? Well, at least that is what I USED to do... I think I have had enough of this kind of mentality and will leave it for someone else to take the damage so that there are SOME initial reviews. Where do you think those come from, eh? They magically appear for all of you to know this stuff is not good? You realize SOMEONE has to buy it first, right?
July 2, 20214 yr I knew it would be a gamble for whomever purchased, but I didn’t think it would be *this* bad.
