I'm having a problem installing this into P3D 4.5.  I added the three scenery files to my Add-on Scenery folder. However, after loading P3D and selecting the scenery option, Grand Rapids doesn't show up in the list.

Any suggestions?

Tom

Tom, you have to add the scenery files manually to your scenery library in P3D using the GUI

Did you have ground texture issues as well you resolved?

I don't have any ground texture issues, so not sure what that problem is

I wonder if the exclude is causing the texture issue

No, it was present in my install before I created an exclude.

Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM

No issues here whatsoever.
In fact I love the atmosphere of the airport, well done to the developer.

I would love to know how to do one but it’s terrible to find a proper guide to learn all the small little things of every process.

Thank you. Had a senior moment and forgot that part.

I have it working just fine in 5.2.   To get rid of the default blgs, in the \Prepar3D v5\Scenery\0302\scenery\ folder, turn off file OBX25160

CaptKornDog - I had the same washed out white issue in 5.2 but the renaming of the OBX25160 file fixed the issue for me. The only thing I do not get is the grey roof textures I suspect that 5.2 uses a different roof texture.  No show stopper though.

A very impressive addition to P3D. I hate to think how much work went into this one! I am very appreciative however to be able to add this to the sim. First class!

Does anybody have an exclude file they wouldn't mind sharing?  My runways are the grass texture.  thanks

How do I know what other airports this disables? I remember reading somewhere a single OBX file can hold a few airports data...

Thanks

I thought the only step required is disabling the OBX file...?

I always avoid that at all costs as I don't like to take out other airports unless I have to.

While this approach will work, you may end up disabling or removing more information than you actually need
