He makes a good point Matt - just an FYI on a bunch of approaches now seeing those weird identifiers where the FAF or steps downs on RNAV's exist between the FAF and MAP.

do you see these weird identifiers when you use Navigraph's navdata?

In the Cirrus the displays are darkened.  How do you adjust the luminance of the gauges in that aircraft?

Are the knobs not working?  They do help a little.

Sure, that's fair, I was just saying we (the WT folks) haven't been involved in the stock flight plan system at all yet, so that may be a regression or other change I'm not aware of. You won't see them on the NXi at present.

Right now they're at max brightness all the time, but we don't yet have the brightness control hooked up.

Just wanted to let you know my CTD issue is not the WT G1000 gauge.  I uninstalled your gauge and found it's some other add-on/mod at play.  Still investigating.

I tried that and it looks like I may have had a bad install.  It looks like more than a few mods/add-ons aren't playing well with SU5.  Still investigating.  I believe once I figure this out I may not have the problem I initially had seeing as it's clearly working correctly for others.

Good morning,

Sorry for my ignorance, but here is my concern.

I can't make the cursor arrow appear when I press the "Range/push pan" Knob like I used to do with the g1000 by default.

Is there something I'm not doing correctly?

Thanks for your help

Push that little icon.   It'll turn blue, and you can type.   Be sure to push it again to release keyboard focus before you try to do anything else, though.   We're still tweaking that interface, might make it so it disengages when you leave the field or something along those lines.

Edit:  Seems like you can also click on the text field itself, which might be a bit easier since it's a bigger target.  We have so many features I can't keep track of them all.   😜

When I click on Flight Plan, the window opens with ORIGIN flashing, but nothing I do (tried turning the large and small FMS knobs) lets me enter the departure airport into the origin field. And I don't see the little keyboard icon you mentioned above to use the keyboard. What am I missing?

Thx,

Al
