Yes, make sure you remove the wt-g1000 mod from your community folder before using the new NXi version.

Once you get your sim updated, come and get it. 🙂

If you have any questions or comments, you can drop them here, or stop by #nxi-early-access on our Discord server to talk to our community there.    There's a link in the description, but to save people who aren't already on it from having to type it in by hand, here you go:

You guys know The push_to_sync heading bug no longer works right? 😞

It does. If you're in Lock interaction mode (the new default), hold the left mouse button to lock to the heading dial, then press right mouse button to push the dial in.

Tried to select an approach... with Direct-To airport already active, still wants to know the airport... when activating.. CTD.

This could be a long journey..

Yeah I mentioned this at their Discord.  I did not receive a CTD (but instead a long pause)...but yeah you shouldn't have to type in the airport again while navigating to an airport for procedures.

This has a lot of promise!  The graphics are better, the approach selection actually sequences a proper approach sequence..

Small bugs:  The PFD sometimes shows the next leg, not the current leg..  Selecting the approach usually requires two tries, before the Enter button works, and then the possible CTD at some point..

Edit:  Disabled all AI Traffic, and finished my first proper LPV approach in MSFS!  🙂

How do you use the keyboard input with the new nxi?

Push that little icon.   It'll turn blue, and you can type.   Be sure to push it again to release keyboard focus before you try to do anything else, though.   We're still tweaking that interface, might make it so it disengages when you leave the field or something along those lines.

Edit:  Seems like you can also click on the text field itself, which might be a bit easier since it's a bigger target.  We have so many features I can't keep track of them all.   😜

Hmm.   Do you mean in the flight plan list, or the info bar at the top?  Have you detected a notable pattern to this, or does it just seem to happen intermittently?

The two-try procedure select is something we discovered already. 🙂  Thanks for the report!

I'll try to reproduce it... the info bar at the top displayed the next leg..  Will let you know.

So what benefits if any does this have over the "old" WT G1000?
