July 30, 20214 yr Hi , i am back to my original 25hz/Vsync On as prior to SU5 mainly because i havent got the boost as expected. Vsync off and Nvidia FPS control is also a stutter mess. The speed of panning drop FPS making it a stutter fest most of the times. Have others found a solution or workaround to this? Not panning is smooth as butter. Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe

Turn that around, set VSync ON in MSFS and framerate to 20 which will give you a max of 40 (only Asobo knows why) and turn VSync to app control in nVidia panel, set Max framerate in there to OFF. Does not solve the panning issue entirely but gives better results, at least for me. After a while in flight it becomes better and more stable. July 30, 20214 yr Thx for that, explains what i am seeing. They should have named it Adaptive VSync in the first place then. July 30, 20214 yr Author Just tried out the latest hotfix and my panning issues at @30fps seems gone. Back to SU4 panning but better performance so far. Stable 60HZ/30FPS Vsync on for now .😄 Michael Moe Michael Moe

July 30, 20214 yr Author Performance Could also be because of Process Lasso (disabling the thread optimisation for the .exe btw) Michael Moe Edited July 30, 20214 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe
July 30, 20214 yr Commercial Member I increased the LODs to 200, and reduced my pan speed and both helped. I can see main thread utilisation going up while panning, but so long as I've still got the CPU headroom then it does not stutter and I don't notice the pop-ins. www.supertrafficboard.com

Ok , great - my FPS doesnt drop anymore when panning - its stays at 30 even with high panning speed - This was my issue that lead to stutter Michael Moe Michael Moe
