August 8, 20214 yr This is quite annoying and happens randomly. I am using a wireless xbox one controller but this started happening recently after SU5. Sometimes My right and left axis sticks will lose it's settings. For example in cockpit view, I won't be able to pan around, because the axis sticks are mapped to rudder, throttles, airlerons, etc. In order to fix the issue, I have to quit the sim, and reload. I'm not sure what's causing this. But perhaps maybe I need to turn on my controller before I launch the game? But even so, that shouldn't matter. I never had this problem before, whether I turn my controller on before or after I launch the sim. August 8, 20214 yr Yes this has always bin a pain .I have to activate it before launch of sim. Also some CTD inflight if it was sleeping and then activate again. Other times the mixture, propeller and throttle would go to idle. With xbox in the mix SU5 vanilla, all those dissapered here. With hf1 and 2 profiles was lost and suddenly whent back to the menu. So something rodden still Michael Moe Edited August 8, 20214 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe
August 8, 20214 yr On top of that we have the white dot in the cockpit. With Microsoft hardware x-box controller. Why not an option to toggle that dot on/off. I never had this problem before, whether I turn my controller on before or after I launch the sim. It's because of the wireless disconnecting. It's always been like that. For that reason I keep mine plugged in

The dot doesn't show up until you start panning with the controller. A quick tap on the d pad and it disappears. If you are not using the controller it's the mouse cursor so I don't know what you are talking about
August 8, 20214 yr Ever since SU5, each time I wake my XBox Wireless controller, the sim decides it's a new device and wants me to either chose default settings or customise them, and then I get the cockpit pan down problem. So, with that and the full flaps and spoiler deployment that already exists with awakened USB devices...🙄 OS: Win11 Home; Mobo: Asus TUF Gaming Z690-Plus WiFi D4; CPU: Intel i5-12400 (Alder Lake) 4.4 GHzRAM: Corsair Vengeance DDR4 64Gb (4x16GB) 3600 MHz; GPU: MSI Radeon RX 5700XT [8GB] SSD: Corsair Force MP510 (for OS); 2x 1TB & 1x 2TB Sabrent Rocket Nvme PCIe 4.0 (one for sim, two for addons)HDD: Seagate 3TB (Data); Seagate 1TB (Programs), ASUS TUF Gaming VG32VQ1B Curved 31.5" monitor, 1440p, 38Mbs ethernet Fulcrum One Yoke, Honeycomb Bravo throttle, Thrustmaster Airbus TCA sidestick & throttle, Logitech Pro pedals, Xbox wireless gamepad (1st gen)

If you are not using the controller it's the mouse cursor so I don't know what you are talking about I want an option in the simulator to toggle the dot on/off. The answer from Microsoft to my request in Zeendesk is"As there is not an option to "toggle the dot on/off" just yet, we have re-qualified this ticket into a Feedback and Feature request". Go to https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/please-add-an-option-to-toggle-the-white-dot-while-using-controller/427070.Either Microsoft or the over 60 voters in MSFS forum think there is an option in MSFS to toggle the dot on/off.The discussion ended for me.
