But I'm not that kind of guy, and I recognise that all taste is personal. But . . . The P40? Have you never seen a P51? or a Spitfire? Even a P47 is prettier than that thing <grin> Oh, but I do like the Albatros. Not quite as much as the Hawker Fury, but close (and anyway, I guess it's not the same category). The Spitfire is my second choice for wwii fighters. Everybody seems to like the looks of the shorter wing version rounded elliptical wings. One of Agatha Christie's earliest novels is about the secret gov't Spitfire design plans that get stolen.
