simple: if you buy from a company in Australia, they would not charge VAT, but you would stll have to pay import duty in the UK. If you did pay australian VAT you need to hold official evidence of VAT paid on imported goods before you can recover the VAT as input tax. or you could just drive 120 miles over to your british fellow pilotsplus to Bristol and hand the cash over, whatever is easier😊

Your previous points had made sense, but this one?🤔 Firstly, their address has a ".io" domain which is a British Indian Ocean domain, which is mainly used as a generic domain, the same as ".com". So, being UK VAT registered is irrelevant compared to their web address in this instance.

VAT is a fact of life here in the UK. And anyone who thinks that taxes won't go up through the roof to stop ordinary people flying whether for leisure, holidays or business, or indeed in a simulator are kidding themselves. Buy whilst you can afford it. Greta rules us! PS the Pilot Plus guys are UK based.

if the company was large enough to fall within the new rules.
