What started as a simple compatibility update for MSFS2020 SU16, aligning Bing Maps data with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, quickly transformed into a full-scale scenery overhaul. Hundred of objects were repositioned to match the latest imagery, but deeper research revealed outdated signs, posters, and details that no longer reflected reality. This led to the creation of this version 4: a refreshed and highly detailed update that brings Le Touquet - Elisabeth II (LFAT) to life with greater realism and accuracy.

The update includes new startup positions (perfect for sunny Sundays), a dedicated fuel startup spot, and the addition of the Douanes-Customs sign on the terminal. Enhancements span across the commemorative plaque for “Le Touquet - Elisabeth II,” new fencing between the restaurant and terminal entrance, reworked helipads and fuel station, and improved sea textures at Baie de La Canche. Runway shoulders, harbor decks, and both public and airside terminal signs have been updated, along with fixes to La Canche river elevation and minor texture issues. Available now, completely free for PC users on MSFS2020 and MSFS2024, enjoy the flight!

Amazing!

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

One more update of this scenery first build almost 4 years ago! This time is about improving runway texture. Mainly for MSFS2024 users and minor fixes + improvement benefit to MSFS2020 also.

Please note that, as for my other scenery, MSFS2024 users need to activate 2 folders for this airport in your Community : vbcorp-airport-__ and zzz-vbcorp-airport-__. Don’t change the name “zzz-vbcorp-airport-__. MSFS2020 user only: you can ignore the zzz-vbcorp-airport-___

Changelog for version 4.1.0:

  • Fix no detailed runway texture for MSFS2024 users only.
  • Fix wrong type startup position.
  • Clean extra parking vehicle.
