November 4, 20214 yr Not specifically related to Nvidia drivers, but I and another user have discovered a DXGI Bug on our Machines related to Volumetric Clouds (loading in with Volumetric Clouds on and with any kind of Precipitation causes a DXGI error and often a CTD, EA on it's own is fine). We both use the same GPUs which are the Radeon RX570. I don't know if anybody else has had this on Nvidia hardware or other AMD cards, but very reproducable on my machine. Though I suspect this is more down to the poor implementation of Volumetic clouds than driver problems. Thought I'd bolt it on here rather than make a whole new thread as there's no solution I know of beyond disabling Volumetric Clouds (which most people on here seem to dislike anyway). PUT In the UK. I only tried EA briefly and didn’t like it with or without volumetric clouds. Ray (Cheshire, England). Hi Ray , can i refresh your memory ? I only had one entry " the TdrLevel=0" in my reg and just had a Hung_error for a very long time leaving T2G LFPG at night What the second entry :-) Thanks Michael Moe Edited November 4, 20214 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe

Later ones may be fine but I'm sticking with these for several more flights. Start RegEdit in Admin mode. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\GraphicsDrivers Right-click right pane and choose New.. DWORD (32-bit) Value Name it TdrDelay. Double-click it and enter a value of 60 decimal Right-click right pane and choose New.. DWORD (32-bit) Value Name it TdrDdiDelay. Double-click it and enter a value of 60 decimal Exit RegEdit and reboot. Install Realtek sound drivers if not already installed. @Ray Proudfoot - I just noticed that the HKEY is in the "ControlSet001" sub directory and not in the "ControlSet" as had been originally advised somewhere way back at the beginning of this thread. Do you know where this change came from? Mark CYYZ

Do you know where this change came from? Mark, a quick search suggests it should be CurrentControlSet. I’ll check my PC tomorrow. I’ve hidden the pinned topic for now. I suggest no one makes any changes until tomorrow when I can confirm my own settings. Good spot and sorry for any mistake. Ray (Cheshire, England). November 7, 20214 yr I haven't read all 445 replies (so far) so maybe this already has been mentioned. So I'm not sure if I'm contributing or not. If you want to do a genuine proper 'clean' driver install, follow the instructions of JayzTwoCents.
