Are the flood lights gone on the FBWa320 Dev.? Also the landing lights are gone as well...?

They work in my Dev 320,but the landing lights are kind of weak...

My lights on my pmdg dc6 and aerosoft crj have also gotten weak after the last update too. Airports are also too dark to taxi since the last update. Thought it was just me….

Everything works on stable & dev versions. I have to try the experimental one.

Seems to be okay on my end, or people could just try uwas light mod https://uwajimaya.github.io/FS2020/

I had to reinstall and both runway and cockpit lights are working on the stable version.

If you didn't know this (and not saying even if so the lights are still dimmer since the update), on the DC-6, the landing lights will be dimmer with the engines at idle than at say 1200 RPM.  This is accurate to the real DC-6 as the lights are tied to the engine gens (#3 if I recall but not sure), and at idle they produce less voltage for the lights.

Check it out the next time you have her up and running at night....pretty cool feature, and the way the light intensity increases with the rpm is very smooth and convincing. 🙂

PS...I agree the lighting for the DC-6 is still to dim to taxi with at night, even ay high RPM, but that is reality...as the DC-6 only has takeoff lights on the wings, no taxi/turn off lights on the nose like more modern day aircraft.

Thanks Steve, I did know about the lights dimming at low rpm’s, used to work perfect. It seems all my planes lights are now overly dim, starting to wonder if I have bad files or something.

Thanks cchiozza. Do you mean reinstall the sim or just the plane? Willing to try anything at this pint, I miss my lights!

Do you have the Nvidia game filter enabled?  You'll know if you press ATL+F3.   If it pops up, check to see if you have a brightness/contrast filter affecting the brightness.

I assume you also checked the monitor's settings as well...but worth an ask. 😉
