Getting CTDs again…

Might be the case indeed, but that is an expensive bet nowadays 😄

OK I mixed your post up with another that I had responded too. MY CTD problem which was horrendous was solved by a new GPU and PSU. Haven't had one now in over 4 months.

As long as I stay away from the TBM, DC-6 and WT CJ4 I am solid. Not one CTD in quite some time now.

Fly nothing but the DC6 and Piper Seminole, mostly DC6.  Hundreds of flights, zero CTDs.

Make sure you do the complete uninstall, following directions from PMDG. There are some folders and files you have to delete manually if you have the MS Store version of MSFS.

My guess is with Default  MSFS you won't have any more CTDs with a new PC. Then add stuff a little at a time..

There was a delay with my new rig but I have it now and yesterday I tried it out with 3 flights consisting of 8 hours total and not a single CTD! I will try with the longitude mod tomorrow and see what happens...

My guess is your CTD problems are over.

Loaded up the CRJ yesterday. Cold and dark at a gate. Went to external view to enjoy the model. CTD. Got it 3 times at FB KDEN. Did the same test at KSFO and KLAX without issue. Will remove FB KDEN and test with default KDEN.

And now I cannot get it to CTD. Same airport. Same plane. Ugh.

I thought you were right as I have been flying for many days without a single CTD, until today! It happened a short time after I clicked on "Fly Now"

This had never happened before so hopefully its a one off!

How did you got that info? I just had my first CTD after updating my Laptop with 3 different fans.. Everything was perfect and in app to KWHP it just went to the Desktop so frustating..

But i want to know what was the issue.. I was flying the CJ4 with the Mod..

Added scenery and set everything in menu to medium CTD Then set everything except terrain and object LOD on high CTDs gone. Wonder if there's a conflict with level settings/expectations and Payware/addons/Sim itself.
