P3D is way ahead of MSFS regarding connecting complete 738 cockpit hardware …

So this might be an (interim) solution for me depending on future MSFS development…

For the moment yes.

When other models can be used with good result (AIG in my case) I will switch back to the default types.xml with all aircraft types

PSXT can be used with every ac that is made for MSFS…

Not P3D bashing, just relating my own experience as someone that used P3D for many, many years, and now think it looks terrible. It's my opinion, if you think otherwise. knock yourself out, I couldn't care less. 

why i don't have B747 like AI traffic ? all is plenty of A320 ?

I have this in all  of my B747 liveries 

isAirTraffic = 1 ; Is the plane usable for air traffic
isUserSelectable = 1 ; Is the plane selectable by the user

 

Can't understand why they aren't used by in real traffic

You need icao_generic = 1 as well.

It needs to be in the the main aircraft.cfg file, not the livery file.

it doesn't matter, it was substitute out any airliner with similar settings as the 747.

Yes, that's what I know. This way you can force the learner to generate airport files for airports you fly often. As far as I recall you don't even have to run the learner in case of (unencrypted) addon airports which usually contain this info.

However, if I spontaneously decide to make a flight from RJTL to RJOE in Japan or NZMJ to NZKm in NZ, I have to run the learner for a longer time in advance. This may be appropriate if you do a careful planning of your flights several hours in advance. However, a poor guy like me who usually only has left an hour in the evening for flying and making a spontaneous decision on his plan is not supported by this scheme.

I talked about this with Nico when he introduced the learner but there doesn't seem to be an alternative possibility so far. I find this a real pity as I otherwise liked PSXT.

a very familiar word considering that I have been waiting for more than a year for something that was sold to us, and that I decided to buy. Although I know I have to wait longer, luckily I wasn't born stupid. 🙂

psxseecon traffic and its learner work incredibly well, in my case. I have, in most of the medium and small airports, all the traffic that I want with all the available models. But, in the big ones, MSFS decides to take me to the desktop.

The other day I flew in real life to Madrid. When I landed I got nervous, I saw so many planes and I thought that at some point I would crash to desktop.
