P3D feels like a 20 year old sim now. I tried going back to P3D for a few weeks while my new PC was getting repaired, and I couldn't wait until I got it back and could continue flying MSFS. Myself I am thinking about upgrading my panels client so I can I install P3Dv5 and use that as a server to drive the 2 MSFS pc’s as client, P3D is way ahead of MSFS regarding connecting complete 738 cockpit hardware … So this might be an (interim) solution for me depending on future MSFS development… 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I have modified the types.xml file from PSXT (thanks for Nico’s help) so all real ac types are devided over the A320 Neo,, B787 and B747. So I have a lot parked ac, taxiing ac and I have landing and taking off ac. Only taking off ac disappear wheh they are about 200-300 ff in the air. I use the Mega Pack ac set but only the ones that display normally (normal textures) when approaching them. Otherwise I delete that ac. Higher the air I have flying ac around me. This is the best I can get at the moment till Asobo has fixed the AI ac ( somewhere in 2022 … ) so, you mean that there is only 320, 787 and 747 in the airports?

When you take this hobby to the next level such as this https://simfest.co.uk/ as many simmers around the world have, the same can be said about flying on a dinky little single monitor. Its all about perspective. Enjoy msfs and stop the P3D bashing as It's completey unnecessary. . Not P3D bashing, just relating my own experience as someone that used P3D for many, many years, and now think it looks terrible. It's my opinion, if you think otherwise. knock yourself out, I couldn't care less.
October 2, 20214 yr why i don't have B747 like AI traffic ? all is plenty of A320 ? I have this in all of my B747 liveries isAirTraffic = 1 ; Is the plane usable for air traffic isUserSelectable = 1 ; Is the plane selectable by the user Can't understand why they aren't used by in real traffic

October 2, 20214 yr 12 hours ago, GSalden said: Hi Michael, Since a few months PSXT has a Learmer tool. You choose the airport and only the Learner and RealTraffic are running. No sim. The Learner sees what ac/airlines take off/land and taxi at an airport. That data is used to created airport files. It is simple and straightforward . Yes, that's what I know. This way you can force the learner to generate airport files for airports you fly often. As far as I recall you don't even have to run the learner in case of (unencrypted) addon airports which usually contain this info. However, if I spontaneously decide to make a flight from RJTL to RJOE in Japan or NZMJ to NZKm in NZ, I have to run the learner for a longer time in advance. This may be appropriate if you do a careful planning of your flights several hours in advance. However, a poor guy like me who usually only has left an hour in the evening for flying and making a spontaneous decision on his plan is not supported by this scheme. I talked about this with Nico when he introduced the learner but there doesn't seem to be an alternative possibility so far. I find this a real pity as I otherwise liked PSXT. You should probably write a similar whiney post tomorrow about the AI to get it out of your system. yes. veeeerry familiar . a very familiar word considering that I have been waiting for more than a year for something that was sold to us, and that I decided to buy. Although I know I have to wait longer, luckily I wasn't born stupid. 🙂
October 2, 20214 yr psxseecon traffic and its learner work incredibly well, in my case. I have, in most of the medium and small airports, all the traffic that I want with all the available models. But, in the big ones, MSFS decides to take me to the desktop. The other day I flew in real life to Madrid. When I landed I got nervous, I saw so many planes and I thought that at some point I would crash to desktop.
