No. And live weather is also not real time.

Thanks.

I'm reminding myself again that what Microsoft, and now what Asobo actually mean  --when they say...

"real time"  - actually means 'as real as it gets'
"live weather" - actually means 'as live as it gets'

ie. It also simulates 'real time' lol.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

Have not had that issue in the most recent versions of three other simulators and their available addons.  My experience for instance with accuracy of live weather from Active Sky 16 and FS Global Real Weather is embarrassing for MSFS.

Hold on. So MSFS weather is worse than my local radio station’s weather forecast? Jeeez, hopefully you don’t tell me now that ATC is not streamed live

No. Its worse than what was available previously.  Even with addons considered.

Hmm.... That's not been my experience recently with MSFS weather. It's been pretty much bang on.

Have requested this in the past.  Please describe where you are flying.  I have not attempted to log any reports, but I have seen what I believe may be world regional differences.  In my last eight flights I have seen representative weather conditions four times.  And I have at my immediate disposal three different weather engines.  MSFS default, Unreal Weather, and REX WF.  I am not getting consistently representative results and that is regardless of the weather engines I have deployed.  I believe it is an issue within MSFS itself in ingesting and presenting the weather in the sim, regardless of source.  i.e. implementation, not source.

Me too. I wish my local weather was as good, like when they say it is going to be sunny out tomorrow and then we have 2 inches of rain.

Does anyone have any departing traffic when using live traffic?

I fly mostly in Europe and Asia

Thank you. Wish others would also include it with their experiences.  I fly exclusively to-date in the USA.  Mostly in the eastern half of the country from one location in Maryland and another location in Indiana.  From what I have seen in reports since release, those who fly in Europe seem to have significantly more reliable live weather.

Not to mention a CTD every 10 minutes.

Due to CPU overheat. This Platform (as others) with overly done AI traffic. I think people underestimate how much what is going on under the MSFS hood. This is not FSX for sure
