Ah, that's new to me. According to your conclusion, MS/Asobo is counting critics/complaints and if an issue gets no mention at all, it will be addressed first. They must have a super glass bowl.

Thanks, I saw it before, but as it's said, it's a temporary (and it seems it's good) workaround while Asobo issues the "official fix".

Also, in my opinion, modifying base files of the sim could lead to trouble in case different files versions are detected during the "Checking For Updates" rolling wheel phase while loading the sim, risking a complete sim re-installation. Probably in this case this is not happening, but as a general rule I wouldn't recommend it, as we've seen this happening before.
