October 29, 20214 yr So just took off in the FWB A320 and a minute into the flight I get a big warning that the cabin altitude is beyond some limit and we're all gonna die. However checking the cabin altitude it's at a smooth 2200' msl and holding steady. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? Thanks!
October 31, 20214 yr You've got a pretty gnarly difference in thrust going on, too. I'm looking at 7.7% difference in N1 and 680 lb/hr difference in fuel burn for a level acceleration with no wind. Divert back to the hangar, you've got some problems! 🤣 (Sorry I can't help you troubleshoot, but this picture says a thousand words.) Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
October 31, 20214 yr I had this happen once as well. It was using the development version a month or so ago. I had read elsewhere (sorry can’t remember where) that it could be caused by a conflict with the toolbar pushback mod. Since then I haven’t used that mod with the FBW (still use it with other aircraft) and I haven’t had the issue repeat.
