It probably will be in due course - but what's the problem? The links to Github and Nexus are very clear.

No problem just asking, Flightsim.to has a good way of keeping you up to date with Mod Updates, I find it easy and generally only use that site 🙂

Man, the Working Title avionics + this aircraft are GREAT.  Just did a couple LPV approaches... blown away!

I see that the WT G1000 can actually display precip.  Anyone know how this works?  We hear from PMDG and other airline-type devs that MSFS doesn't yet provide the interface necessary to implement weather radar... but it seems to work pretty well on this aircraft?

If you mean how this works in MSFS, no idea - but that 3rd-party devs can't implement an actual WX radar yet might have to do with the SDK not being there yet.  If you mean in RL - that's basically just a data uplink via 'ADS-B in', you receive WX imagery from the NEXRAD network.  So it's not an actual onboard radar but processed data displayed with some delay of IIRC up to 20 minutes, that's why it shouldn't be confused with a stormscope, if you rely on it to avoid cells you may be in for unpleasant surprises.

I think this has been covered but will de-icing become functional at some point?

Oh yeah, I know how it all works in reality, but I mean in MSFS.  I've heard the same as you - without a complete SDK, no weather radar. And yet, here is a working graphical depiction of precip in a sim aircraft (by working I mean that you seem to fly in and out of precip as it indicates you should).  If you applied some smoothing to remove the blocky appearance (which datalink weather does have IRL) you could call it a radar picture with no problem.  So I'm just wondering how it can be that this works, while the payware devs say it can't currently be done?

Just a point of curiosity. Whatever is happening, I'm impressed!   👍

Perhaps the WT team will provide some insight per the progress with the NXi.

I believe this is correct, but WT have their fingers in the guts of MSFS.. so they do not need the "interface"..

In the TBM you even have an actual WX radar attached to the G3000.  But anyway, it's pretty cool to have NEXRAD in the old doctor killer, the NXi even displays METARs for waypoints reporting those.

Because… the NXi and all other default aircraft MSFS use JavaScript/HTML as the programming language for instruments and displays. Radar is available via the SDK for aircraft using that development environment for displays. That has been the case since almost the initial release of MSFS

The Aerosoft CRJ, PMDG 737 and likely the Fenix A320 use (or will use) C++ as the primary development language and in MSFS, C++ code is compiled to run under WASM.

There is (as yet) no provisions in the SDK - no API - that would permit a WASM add-on to access the location of clouds or precipitation in the Live Weather environment of MSFS. Until there is, WASM aircraft will not be able to provide radar.

Or deadly ones. This is well worth a watch:
