November 13, 20214 yr Hello, I'd like to use AIG traffic with real life online traffic what in general works. But I have also then (ugly) Asobo planes. I have the settings as recommended on AIG site: AIRCRAFT TRAFFIC TYPE = REAL-TIME ONLINE AIRPORT VEHICLE DENSITY = whatever you like GROUND AIRCRAFT DENSITY = 0 WORKER DESNISTY = whatever you like USE GENERIC PLANE MODELS (AI) = OFF thx Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
November 13, 20214 yr Think you need to set your traffic type to "Off", not Real-time Online [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]
November 13, 20214 yr Correct, it is either Traffic Type Off and use AIGTC injection or Real Time Online but do not launch AIGTC and it will be a mix of AIG and Asobo default AI Have a Wonderful Day -Paul Solk

November 13, 20214 yr The only effective way I have found to do this is to go into every aircraft .cfg in >Packages>Official find all the planes, go into their base aircraft.cfg file and change "istraffic=" from 1 to 0. took about 30 minutes but I don't see any generics.

Ahhh, nice ide. If you use NotePad++, you can "find in files" and replace Takes then about 2 seconds 😉 Thanks for that idea! November 13, 20214 yr At least one aircraft needs to be generic or the sim will crash. So I'd keep the small generic GA planes enabled personally. Edited November 13, 20214 yr by Tuskin38
November 13, 20214 yr Hello! Does ai companion read the data of injected real ai traffic of PSX or realtraffic software? or do we need always a bgl traffic file?. thanks for your products!

Yes good point, I forgot to add I only disabled airliners and left GA alone. One problem I am having is at 100% traffic, Traffic Controller was crashing a lot. At 75% it seems stable. Also, the Lufthansa package has too many old livery jets. Hopefully, we can get that fixed pretty easy. But man I went to Frankfurt with 75% traffic and man they must have stacked up 10 deep for departure on 18. They don't seem to want to use certain realistic runways configs though. I wonder when we will get a AFX type editor or if we will. We definitely went from 0-100 with this mod. Thanks AIG. Edited November 14, 20214 yr by aniiran
November 14, 20214 yr This topic is really interesting! Do I understand it correctly: One can use the AIG models in combination with the MSFS real time traffic schedule? At this site I have found this:Get better AI traffic with AIG AI Manager, now available for MSFS as a Public Beta - MSFS Addons Quote:"Basically, you need to download the One-Click-Installer and also the Traffic Controller tool, used to inject traffic into the sim. Without the Traffic Controller injector, you only get the usual Online Ai traffic, but with better models and liveries." So it is possible to install all the AIG schedule by using the AIG AI Manager, set the traffic option in MSFS to "Real time", and then I don not run the AIG Traffic Compiler to get all the new AIG models in MSFS? That would be great! But I have tested it on yesterday evening at airport EDDF. There were two AIG airplanes (Condor) landing, but there were no other airplanes to be seen, not a single one Lufthansa aircraft. There was only one generic aircraft to be seen at the gate. I will do more tests today... Patric

There were many AIG airplanes landing and I saw many airplanes parking at the gates. Moreover there were two generic planes to be seen, too, but that's no problem for me. Before the new test I have reinstarted the AIG AI Manager again, and it showed me an info, that it was merging something. I don't know what it was doing, but perhaps that was a problem on yesterday. Edit: Perhaps one can replace the remaining generic models/liveries by using Simple Traffic. 😉 Patric Edited November 14, 20214 yr by pscharff
