December 5, 20214 yr I am so glad I got the EVGA GTX1080 when graphics cards were affordable years ago and am still happily using it. Serves me well, mostly for MSFS those days but still for P3D5.3. XP11, and AeroflyFS2. Even with my Reverb 1, while it doesn't wonders it works. I'm not prepared to spend 1500 $ for a new graphics card. I'm usually going with new drivers, but always wait until I've see enought reports to be sure there are no issues. OS 2TB 980 Pro , MSFS 2TB WD Black , Kington Fury 64GB ram ( 6000) Corsair RM1000 PSU, Artic Freezer iii 360 AIO . Phanteks P600s Case ,TCL QM8B 50" 120 Hz TV,second 24 inch screen for charts you tube etc, and 11" touch screen for the EFB. Warthog Stick and TCA Captains throttle ( full pack) Velocity 1 Rudder Pedals , extreme3D for the Tiller,Streamdeck XL x2 / Streamdeck +/Streamdeck mini because i like pressing buttons

December 5, 20214 yr Commercial Member I too am still very happy with my 1080. I just giggle at those who are paying those prices for the 3000 series. I even have a good 'ol i7-2700k running at 4.8GHz! System runs great for my flightsim needs and development. Intel i9-12900KF, Asus Prime Z690-A MB, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, (3) SK hynix M.2 SSD (2TB ea.), 16TB Seagate HDD, Gigabyte GeForce 5080 RTX, Corsair iCUE H70i AIO Liquid Cooler, UHD/Blu-ray Player/Burner (still have lots of CDs, DVDs!) Windows 10, (hold off for now on Win11), EVGA 1300W PSUNetgear 1Gbps modem & router, (3) 27" 1440 wrap-around displaysFull array of Bravo, Saitek and GoFlight hardware for the cockpit. Varjo and HP VR headsets for mixed reality.
