December 17, 20214 yr Anybody had any issues with the last NVIDIA driver update (497.09)? I am getting this weird mouse view behaviour - when I select mouse view control for zoom etc, the view snaps through about 90 degrees vertically and about 180 degrees horizontally, in other words one minute your looking at the panel then hey presto you staring at the floor and looking backwards. The mouse control then is unresponsive for a few seconds before you are able to move the cross hair cursor and orientate yourself and get back to normal then turn it off. I switched my controllers on the joystick and reset the calibration and removed any conflicts. It is random, sometimes yes sometimes not at all. Yes I checked my FSUIPC settings. And the flashlight stopped working or worked erratically - so it is back to the previous driver! Edited December 17, 20214 yr by coastaldriver

December 17, 20214 yr Ive been very impressed with it working very well here with 5.3 since 4th Dec.👍 Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF - 24 Cores... Watercooling NZXT Kraken 240 RGB Black...MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK...Kingston Fury Beast RGB 128GB DDR5-5600...NVIDIA RTX 4090 24GB.
December 17, 20214 yr Very interesting how each PC reacts to this driver. On my end, I have no issues with MSFS while in P3D I get Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 stopped working due to DXGI_ERROR_ACCESS_DENIED or just intermittently crashes without any messages. I did load 456.71 and no issues at all. Something very strange here. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
December 18, 20214 yr Yes its like a lucky, or not so lucky dip. I usually keep all the Nvidia drivers that Ive downloaded as backups so to speak.. Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF - 24 Cores... Still running 471.96 here and with EA off and 'Prefer Max Performance' in NCP I can't remember the last time I had a DXGI error. The pinned topic about DXGI may help you. Ray (Cheshire, England). These RTX 3090 cards are like a toaster. Initially, I had issues with MSFS going hot but lately, after they optimized somehow the software it is much better, unfortunately, now this new P3D version looks like to have an issue. I went back to the previous version and I don't experience any issues. I will try as suggested to see if it makes any difference with the registry hacks. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
