December 25, 20214 yr I used to like getting Christmas Cards in the mail. Not so much anymore. But I guess I’m at an age now where I have to expect the ones that contain messages that are not in spirit of the holidays. Merry Christmas. Happy Holidays. Joyeau Noel. Felice Navidad. Season’s Greetings. These are messages I should be left with after reading the inside of the card. But all too often now there is written below the Christmas message of joy and happiness words like ‘Uncle Fred died this year’ or ‘Aunt Mary is on chemo for lung cancer’. That defeats the purpose of Christmas Card. If you want to tell me sad news about Uncle Fred or Aunt Mary do it under separate cover in a regular letter. Let the Christmas Card remain a message of joy; not an obituary or a tale of woe. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

On the other hand I reckon people figure you don't hold with the pagan/commercial aspects of so hold off sending a card. The World is divided into two groups.
