Kodiak 100 Walkaround

OK... how did he get the Volt and Amp labels to show on the Engine readout panel in the G1000 NXi MFD?

I do not have the G1000 NXi MFD but I believe it was on the engine page or something?

Maybe he is using the default G1000? (Didn't watch the entire video.)

Don't think so..

Volt amps are on the NXI  Engine Systems menu.

I think the point that Bert is raising is how did the labels VOLTS and AMPS show up as in the pic below from the review? I can't make that happen in the Kodiak with the G1000NXi. The developer has posted that the label placements were based on the default G1000 and don't fully "work" yet on the G1000NXi. Also, in the G1000NXi numerical values show up to the right of those bar displays which I don't see below.  My guess would be the review happened to use the default G1000.

Or more likely, an earlier version of the NXi.

Well, 'luckily' this Kodiaks knows no failures so we can rest assured those numbers all are within range. (Right...? 😉 ) Would be great if this plane had failures but from what I've understood the devs won't be adding any more features: it's meant to be a 'middle of the road' simulation and not one with great system depth. Now I don't really mind because I usually don't like to activate failueres but somehow it's always nice to know an add on has enough depth to enable failures if you want them. It's like with the FWB 320 and the upcoming Fenix one: even though I love the FWB version and don't want failures I will buy the Fenix one because it has EVERYTHING simulated: that just FEELS nicer, even if I won't be using all those failure options. 😉
