Recommended Posts

Just a quick question about the availability of the PMDG 777 package for the latest 777 version, does anyone know if there will be one ? or is there one that I can't find.

Yes there is but it is not compatible with the latest version of the 777-200 or the 300, so I'm curious if there is a new compatible version in the making.

Wow I didn't notice that but I don't own the 200ER

I think that Raul (Simbol) created the 777 immersion package v2, so I assume that he should be able to answer your question.

I just checked the product description page and I did not see it states it only supports a specific model. I would expect it for at least to support also the 300ER since it was supported in v1.

Am I missing something, this is in bright red right at the top of the product page...

This product will not work with the 2021 PMDG 777 release.

Hi There,

I worked on this project.. the product is fully compatible with the latest version of PMDG 777. However you need to purchase the correct version of Immersion for 777, you need V2.

https://orbxdirect.com/product/p42-777-immersion-v2

Hope this helps to clarify.

Ok, thanks Simbol for the clarification, I've had V2 installed for, well for as long as its been available but did also read the red text that is wasn't compatible with the latest version of the T7 and at this point haven't seen any effects at all only the default contrails, I'd assumed they were default, is there no control panel as is with the 787 & 737?

Regards Rod.

Have I seen somewhere that the immersion packages require P3D to be run as administrator?

Yep P3D always ran as Administrator.

Just set up at YBCS airport runway 15 T7-300, cyclone warning out for that area, pouring with rain, ASP3D real weather, I did see engine thrust wash active for a fleeting moment and then it stopped and disappeared, no effects on take off or any from there on, hopefully someone can elaborate on what is wrong, this is still with P3DV4.5 HF3 if that makes a difference.

All ok now and working, an update to the Immersion Manager fixed it, happy now.

Only Immersion V2 will have menus.. so 737 immersion V2 has menus and more effects.. it was developed from scratch to support NGXu. 787 was never upgraded to V2.. but it was modified to support V5, etc.

Video of 737 Immersion V2 for NGXu
