January 9, 20224 yr Lake Superior has mostly frozen over. Very occasionally the large lake will completely freeze. One year when I lived up there there was no snow cover and it froze inland without much wind for days. You could walk out for miles and see the lake floor below your feet it was so clear. A couple on a walk found an undiscovered ship wreck from the 1800's below their feet. It's nice that they fixed the clouds on the groubd thing.
