QW787 panelstate=coldanddark.pnl

Featured Replies

In order to set it as cold and dark in the manual,

 It currently contains the following line regarding Cold and Dark:

//panelstate=coldanddark.pnl

Remove the // so it should only read:

panelstate=coldanddark.pnl

There is a content like this, but qw787.cfg of my Prepar3D v5\QualityWings does not contain //panelstate=coldandark.pnl, but it disappeared as it was updated?

It must do.

I did a complete reinstall of my system last week and installed the QW787

The line was in the CFG file.

Thanks

I looked at my qw787.cfg file and it too has this line present (uncommented).

PanelState=coldanddark.pnl

No idea why that happened, but you can just add it and it should work (unless the update botched everything).

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Can you let us know how it performs under 5.3HF1 ?

I had major stutters which i believe was related to GPWS/Terrain or weather depiction on the ND from 5.0 and up.

Thanks

I haven't flown much with the QW787 in 5.3HF1.1, but in the couple of flights I had, there were no performance problems for me.
