Deleting Individual Log book Entries

Featured Replies

Is it possible to delete individual log book enteries. Flying in the Fiji area, I quite often position the A/C at an airport to see what it looks like for landing & T/O. The logbook shows the airport but no flight times as there is none. I want to remove these dud entries to keep the logbook as close aspossible to realistic.

Can’t be done. It might of course be possible to manually delete by delving into system files and editing a config file if you are brave and don’t mind a complete sim reinstall when the next sim update is released. That said, the logbook is 100% broken. It does not record a single flight correctly. It never has, since launch day. It is broken, unserviceable, grounded, kaput! The logbook coder guy for Asobo has been on holiday at the funny farm since day 1. 😄 Asobo don’t see to care much for this aspect of the sim right now.

All logbook information is stored in the cloud with no way to change it... it is completely useless in its current state.  Suggest Volanta or Little Navmap as useable alternatives.

Seem to recall that this was a feature of FSX

I suggest using SimToolKitPro as an excellent alternative.

That's the reason Logbook is completely useless feature in MSFS.

I was bothered by it at the very beginning but after a few flights I just didn't care anymore. Why would I care about the logbook if even Asobo doesn't? Just use one of the 3rd party logbooks.

I use Land Rate Monitor for logbook. Keeps everything about your flight and it is free. https://www.lrmclient.org/

Thanks guys,

I will give this a go. Watch this space!!
