February 4, 20224 yr Just off a lovely flight from Darwin to Dum In Mirrie Is withh the MV Porter. The MSFS imagery is much better than before the last WU. The weather was very convincing and I think true, summer tropical, hot, humid, overcast, light rain. So far so good. I was a bit surprised not to meet any turbulence though. February 14, 20224 yr Finally flying over the Alps without bouncing like crazy. Just a little like I recognize from flying over the Alps many times… Even de cumulus clouds did not look like yellow mashed potato as before. February 14, 20224 yr I got quite a lot of chop flying over Japan doing an island hop in the Baron. It actually forced me to stay at 2000 ft. Cloud turbulence is definitely back. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
February 14, 20224 yr Talking of Bounces of a different kind: I fly mostly Taildraggers and they all seem very very hard to get a bouncy landing with in MSFS, irl its easy😁

I am envious! The ac slightly bounced up and down. And the trim corrected it perfectly. Imho the winds aloft have been exaggerated. A 737 which is being tossed around like it weights 10 pounds was not realistic. For me this is better than it was before 😄 Todays flight was a real joy Bernard 🤩 Edited February 14, 20224 yr by GSalden 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0
