ToMy Li...FS2004 and 25 frames - there is something wrong with your setup, probably a driver conflict. I run FS2004 and get 100+ fps out oftown, 60+ moderate town, and 40+ in London UK near heathrow withall sliders (except autogen) to max + many addon. Average machine...Dual 2.8, 1G memory, 800Mhz FSB, ATI X600 GPU etc.Tom

Thanks Phil, and congratulations to all the team on a job well done. I was getting pretty good frames before, so now I've got a bit more autogen to play with. FSX will be hard to beat for a long time to come.Mike.

> One question: after the reinstall should the "Photo-Based Add-on> Scenery Update" fix to be applied or is it included in the SP1?> And if yes, which order should be used?I second that question.

Hola Thomas,Why don't you try installing FSX and FS9 on Windows XP Professional and then see how it goes.I still think Vista is not the best it can be.Wait for the DX10 patch to be released and then go back to Vista.Better still..you seem to have a very large hard drive, why don't you try a "dual boot" and setup FSX and FS9 on Windows XP and Windows Vista and do some testing?Adios amigo.Regards,Rafael..Adelaide Australia...

Brilliant news. I am just in the process of installing Vista Home Premium and getting a new video card today (GEFORCE 7800GS OC AGP) and now SP1 is out too. Oh what a joyous day, I feel I may not be in work for a few days, lol! Thankyou ACES team/Microsoft/Phil, etc.

While the release of a service pack is good news, let's not forget that many things now fixed.. have been... well... fixed, because they didn't work well the first time round! I can understand that most people are pleased because their FSX now works - half a year after the release - but will you just read some of the stuff here?I'd rather see some more replies along the lines of things fixed, performance increases etc. I get the impression that some people here are euphoric on principle and haven't even tested SP1 before posting!
