>Yesssssss!! I won the bet!! You are the first to have a>negative post about SP1!!! I can retire now!!>>You are here everyday and ACES has been saying this for WEEKS>and yet you STILL don't get it. Phil said that only tweaked files would need to be removed, not any 3rd party addons. I can go into past posts and prove it to you numerous times but the point is moot anyway because the patch worked for me even with ALL of my addons installed. They were probably just being careful with their wording. And as far as your bet I did not say anything negative about the patch, only that they changed their recommendation for 3rd party addons after he told me it wouldn't be necessary. Won a bet...haha silly boy you make me rofl. The patch actually kicks a$$. I am seeing a straight 50% across the board from what i can tell so far. I am frankly pretty flabergasted. I had absolutely no intention of uninstalling fsx and addons to make it work but i am glad that it did work with all my addons because this is the sim that we should have gotten at release time last fall. In sheer hardware muscle alone you should be beating me... and then some.Trust me when I say it isn't FSX or SP1 that's your issue.

but... my mate... What can be? everything is all right, my system is NEW, SO it's really clean! only for FS2004 and FSX, I have nothing more installed.Have Windows Vista updated, better BIOS revision, just turned off SLI mode also! FORCEWARE drivers latest version.Notice about my performances with FS2004 are impresive! 25 frames all time in all places with all ADD-ON in everywhere I wish...!Cannot belive, it's a frustration!! Im taking so long time waiting for this dreamer Service Pack 1, and now Im feeling much more bad my FSX performances, how it is!?very very strange, my god. dawn it

He did mention and emphasized addons with dll's may have trouble!. So far I've found 2, Cloud9's Addon Manager, which means their airport sceneries won't work, and FS Recorder, which the developer knows about and warned it's users. So far no issues with data addons like aircraft.

Thanks

Thanks Phil and everybody else concerned with this contribution! Now, let me be the first to show my ignorance (unless I am the only soul that is this ignorant).I understand the need for a clean program before installing SP1, but exactly what is the definition of "RTM"? I thought it meant "Release to manufacturing", but apparently not in this case. Thanks:RTH

mmmmm, Phil. Your patch is so....big.;-)Thanks for all the hard work! :-)

Thank you so much for your works. One question: after the reinstall should the "Photo-Based Add-on Scenery Update" fix to be applied or is it included in the SP1? And if yes, which order should be used?Happy landings to everybody!
