SDK SP1 File corrupt ??

Featured Replies

I've downloaded the SDK SP1 now multiple times but it doesn't run.Seems the file is corrupt. Did it work for others ? *confused*http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/b...sx_sdk_sp1a.exe------------------------------------------Freeware A380 Load Editor + Glass Cockpit Software coming soon !

I got a 161mb file.First it removes the existing SDK - if the SDK is not there, I guess it will not run. Then it installs the new SDK.Worked perfectly.

You must already have the original SDK installed from DVD#1 of the Deluxe (Professional in some countries) before the SDK SP1a will install.

Im very UNSATISFIED...Just installed the Service Pack 1 for FSX, I am getting about 12 frames, it's really poor.My System:Intel Core2 Quad QX6800 Extreme 2,93 8Mb Cache L2ASUS STIKER EXTREME (BIOS 1102v)4Gb DDR2 Corsair 800 MhzXFX 8800 GTX (two connected via SLI) -Latest NVIDIA FORCEWARE-TAGAN 1.100W750 Gb SEAGATE HDD 7200 RPM 16 Mb cacheCREATIVE Sound Blaster XFI Extreme Gamer ProfessionalWindows Vista Ultimate 64 Bits BoxedWhere are the 20% more?My copy of FSX to the bin, long life to the FS2004.

Is it absolutely necessary to post this same message on every thread talking about SP1 (heck, this thread isn't even about SP1, but about the SDK that goes along with it).

I am not even using FSX as I did not reinstall it yet, but it seems with your specs, something is very wrong. I would try rebuilding your FSXcfg file, and checking out your system in whole. I already am reading other users with way lower specs than you getting much better performance, so I would keep at it, as others here will help. I know I'm going to have to learn all over again with FSX as I know FS9 inside and out for the most part. Hang in there :)

Care to try a few things first? Out of scientific curiousity?First, lets disable one of your 2 boards and run in single board mode.Next, lets fly at SeaTac. resolution 1280x1024, frame rate to 30. Set everything to medium high. Then set Global Texture Resolution to medium, Water 2.lo, no bloom, no shadow, air traffic 20%, road and boat traffic 40%. Mesh complexity 76, Mesh resolution 19m, Texture resolution 2m, special effects medium, , mesh 19m, level of detail radius medium. What is your frame rate? What was your frame rate for similar settings at SeaTac with RTM? What is your core usage?Out of curiosity, what is your 3dmark and Winmark on that 64-bit system?

Hi Phil, Im disable SLI mode, I have no any OVERCLOCKING running... no any other software interfering. I wish to fly in this new high-end computer with all sliders or minimum to HIGH set. I have tried 1280x960... I am getting about 15 frames, didn't like this performances. I go back to FS2004, I can fly without limitations with it. Regards,

Isn't that an NDA problem? I'm a little confused....talking about SP1 (not the SDK here)....??

And you also need to understand that you cannot run all sliders right, so put that out of your mind.Showing such a quick dismissal of SP1 and no apparent will to find the answer with your config and SP1 won't help you any.Spamming 6 threads with the same message won't endear you to users or mods, either...Just a little advice. You can work it out with the help of others here.
