Don't blame the plane. 7 minutes ago, gb09f said: Contrary to misinformation, the aircraft doesn't fly itself! Well, actually it does. I absolutely love the Airbus and the Fenix one is the only airliner I may buy (unless a Dash 8 Q400 comes along) but the plane is extremely easy to fly and it's loved and praised because of its ability to do almost everything itself. Yes, of course you CAN handfly it whenever you want to but it can fly by itself and in that case it only requires a few button turns and switch flicking in order to go from A to B. Great design imho.

I kept flying the 737, which I love(d) Come MSFS and a year's worth of FBW development, and I don't think I will really ever enjoy flying the 737 again as much as I used to. Same here. The 737 (Zibo) was my favourite aircraft in XPlane - by far. At some point I felt I‘d need a new challenge and bought the FF A320. I spent quite some time coming to grips with it an I did enjoy it for a while but eventually I went back to the 737. Now that I‘ve got used to the A320 I’m really enjoying it and if I‘m honest I‘m even more excited about the upcoming Fenix 320 than the PMDG 737. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2

My virtual passengers can get into a Boeing aircraft and we'll go from there. Huh?

February 24, 20224 yr Here are some YouTube streams created by RL Airbus pilots. Only the more recent involve the FBW model, but there's tons of introductory/tutorial information explaining the Airbus system and how it can differ from conventional aircraft including Boeing: V1-Simulations 320 Sim Pilot Blackbox711 Some of this material is presented in mods other than the FBW A320 and on other simulators, but there's a lot of great stuff that will make it much easier to learn how to fly the Airbus, whatever the simulator. Good luck.
