February 28, 20224 yr I have updated to SU8 and when pressing the mid click button on my mouse to zoom in it works fine, but pressing it again to go back to the mouse cursor so I can click on things in the flightdeck does not work, it just stays in zoom mode. I haven't had this issue before and have tried configuring my mouse settings in MSFS but to no avail. Any idea what the issue may be?

Zoom still works with that method. The command is TOGGLE FREELOCK in Controls Options --> Mouse-->Camera --> Cockpit Camera. Pre-SU8 it really was a toggle and behaved correctly. Now, it's not a toggle. You have to right click to exit, assuming you have default mouse controls. If it's no longer a toggle by design, they should not call it a toggle anymore. I think that's a mistake though, I think it's a bug. Rhett 7800X3D ♣ 96 GB G.Skill Flare ♣ Gigabyte 4090 ♣ Crucial P5 Plus 2TB

Still broken in 2024 but this thread, and particularly this comment, made me laugh. Absolutely insane that a sim that looks so good can still be plagued by the most basic of UI problems 4 years later.

Yep, just last night I'm still unable to use ATC if the mouse cursor is over the toolbar window (I have a HAT switch bound to the numbers choice), a bug introduced & reported in 2021. Only a little bug, but very annoying all the same, I try to minimise mouse usage in VR so I really don't want to revert to clicking the window manually.
