March 2, 20224 yr I add them based on the airports I use. I typically fly in the US. When I first loaded AIG, I went to my home airport (KBWI) web page. It lists all of the airlines they service, so I added those. I did the same for 3 or 4 of the other airports I visit the most. This whole process took about an hour. It got plenty of traffic in the areas I visit the most. After that, when I am planning to fly to an airport not in my 'top 5', I load up AIM and the airport's web page and see if I have all of the airlines they service and install any that I am missing. This way, I'm only doing small additions over time instead of doing mass installs. i9-10850K, ASUS TUF GAMING Z490-PLUS (WI-FI), 32GB G.SKILL DDR4-3603 / PC4-28800, GIGABYTE RTX5080 16GB WF OC 3 FAN running 3440x1440
March 2, 20224 yr Author One thing I found is that now that Asobo has "fixed" AI departures, it seems that if you use the sims realtime-online setting, you get AIG traffic aircraft without having to bother activating the AIG-TC module. Seems to work, and eliminates the minutes for TC to load, which I find borderline maddening.... We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. And if i want to check out some scenery, maybe in Japan, i'm not concerned about whether or not there are airlines. Posted a write up on it how to do it in that thread others linked and at the AIG forums ( https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=38874.0 ) Just a note that if you did it before SU8 that the update installed a new layout.json file, so that has to be changed again. EDIT: I know some of you don't have an account over at AIG and finding it in the long AIG thread here is hard, so I posted the write up in it's own thread here at Edited March 3, 20224 yr by Phantoms James
