i've been using both the Cessna 172 and the Beech D17S. Does it load with just AUTO?

edit -  tried with [AUTO.CRJ] -  still doesn't load. Works fine with manual load

 

If you add the Lua entry in [Auto] section, it is supposed to start with all aircrafts.

yes, but in my case, it does not. I've tried it as the only entry and along with other entries

[AUTO]

1=Lua RAAS 1

I reinstalled latest FSUIPC and it is registered.

Sadly a lot of people are takers, they just want the freebie.

Downloaded this RAAS from Flightsim.TO. I could not get it to load using the {Auto} entry in fsuipc.ini. Did load it manually and got the OK message but that's the last I heard from RAAS. Taxied around KORD across runways, turning onto various taxiways, but did not receive anything aural as described in the manual.

BTW, I have no idea what a SAPI voice is and if I have any installed in Win11.

If you hear the test Ok message, it means your SAPI voice is working correctly.

If you don't hear other messages make sure other lua script like hidBravoButtons is NOT running.

Also make sure you have the last FSUIPC version installed.

About the auto start: I noticed that the test Ok message occurs during the flight load screen progress, before the first cinematic. So maybe you don't wear your headset at this moment, or your audio is off so you can't hear it?

I have not intentionally played around with or added any Lua scripts to MSFS. Where would I look to find if this is running?

Guilty! I'll try again with the audio on while the sim is loading.

See in FSUIPC.ini, [Auto] or [Auto.xxx] sections if you have other lua script declared to start. OR do you start manually other scripts?

Can you activate logging for Lua Plugins in FSUIPC7:

Then run the sim, start RAAS manually, taxi and align a runway, then copy log content in a spoiler here?

For all of you having the following issue:

** You hear the first "test OK" message and then nothing else **

==> Make sure to DISABLE the "Lua Plugins" log option in FSUIPC7 (Log menu)

I'm having the exact same problem.  No matter what I do I can't get Lua RAAS to load in FSUIPC7.  It initially didn't load, so I added it manually and I still cannot find it so I can assign a button.  I double and triple checked my installation per the instructions.  Don't know what else to do.  Any ideas?

EDIT:  Don't know if this matters, but what does show up in FSUIPC7 is "LUAKLLALL"

Please notice that you have to switch battery On to enable RAAS auto test and hear subsequent messages on most aircraft (but not the FBW).

I have verified that auto start is working here with:

[Auto]

1=Lua RAAS

With the FBW and auto start, auto test message is occurring earlier, during the flight loading screen.as battery status is always seen ON.

Yes but when FSUIPC loads, the a/c hasn't been selected yet. When selected and powered up - still no test audio on auto.  Manual still works though
