Roland, sorry, I must be doing something wrong in the CMD prompt.  I get 'wsay' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. I typed cd C:\FSUIPC7, then got the cmd prompt, C:\FSUIPC7>wsay hello pressed enter and didn't hear anything.  I get 'wsay' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

Guess I'm just too computer illiterate to help.  Thanks for trying anyway.

Unfortunately it's difficult for me to spend my spare time after a workday to try to teach you some basics of IT knowledge. English is not my language, therefore it takes me more energy of course, and my explanations are probably unclear for you, I apologize. I would strongly advise you to find someone to help you locally at home (friends, family), or a trusted person who could take the hand on your computer from a remote location.

I'm pretty sure we have many skilled people here on Avsim who could help a lot. But these days as you see, it's not anymore a natural behavior for most.

No problem.  Totally understand.  I'm sure it's me who's not understanding what exactly to do.  Hopefully I'll eventually get it up and running.  Thanks again for all your help.  I greatly appreciate it.  YouTube videos of it looks really good.  

Just some feedback that  both Manual and Auto work perfectly for me so far ( I have not tested all features).

Based on past experience, I had also added "RAAS" in the [LuaFiles] section of FSUIPC7.ini.   I don't know if that is necessary.

I have had no showstoppers with this addon. Works very well.

One minor thing I have noticed is that the sound clip (test OK) is sometimes played twice 🙂 Not that it matter, but I am curious to why that is.

Is it heard twice in a very short delay?

The start message (test Ok) is issued each time RAAS is launched. As RAAS is not programmed to restart itself, it can be toggled by:

- FSUIPC restart, (if you configured [Auto] start for RAAS)

- Multiple (Auto or manual) start calls. May be you programmed it in [Auto] section and also in an another aircraft specific section [Auto.<acft>] inside FSUIPC.ini ?

In normal usage, it's not required to restart RAAS during a flight. Normal means that you are using it in standard airliner flights. Of course if one take a small GA to run multiple take off / landing sequences, with short circuit and low altitude, RAAS may be lost at some point. (like I saw in a YT video 😗)

It's supposed to detect also a couple of abnormal conditions like Rejected Take Off and Aborted Landing.

Just as a fyi - pulled onto RWY 26 at NTTP -  all announcements as expected - started takeoff run and started getting "on taxiway" messages while I was straight down the centerline.

Great! What was the problem finally?

Files not where they should be, specifically wsay and the csv files. Got them squared away and all is good.
