Knew the framerate boost wasn't going to happen without something else going wrong! Trackir now crashes/freezes the computer when FSX is started post SP1 patch. I've tried reinstalling the TrackIR drivers, and deleting some SimConnect files that apparantly it uses, and then doing a 'Repair' of FSX. No luckWill now have to reinstall the lot, but some on NaturalPoint's forum are still having problems. Anybody got a definitive answer?

Using Trackir4 (with the latest software) sucessfully with SP1 and I did'nt even do a clean install of FSX.

Clean install of FSX/SP1 and using TrackIR driver v4.1.030 and no issues at all.

Clean FSX install, SP1 and latest TIR drivers. No issues here.

I'm using 4.1 build 29 without a clean install (although I did delete the App DataMicrosoftfsx folder prior to SP1 install). No problems for me either.David

TrackIR 3 and latest drivers here - no problems after using the "repair" method to clean FSX for SP1 install.I sometimes find that I have to unplug then replug the trackIR USB connection before starting the TrackIR drivers.Did you check the tracking before starting FSX, I always do this before starting FS?John

I have heard of some issues, with the TrackIR not working after installing SP1. Generally it has come down to an issue with simconnect.If you do a clean reinstall of FSX, w/ SP1, it has resolved the issue.
