I just recently downloaded their stable version from the site. Do I need this utility? Is there an update to the A320?

Your choice. You don't need it per se if you do not mind doing frequent manual checks on the FBW website, but it does greatly simplify everything. All under one roof and one click (or so) away.

Cheers,

@Watsi Can you please add a short description on FBW's history, e.g. how it all started and how it proceeded, and perhaps a who is who in the team? (I'm just curious 🙂 )

Interested in exploring the beginnings of the A32NX project? FlightSim.com recently published an interview detailing the start of the project, our team, and over 170 contributors. Included are some of our older previews of A32NX features and of course the A380X. If you've missed them or have just heard about us, this interview is a nice little roundup - read on below!

Huge thanks for Dominic Smith from flightsim.com who reached out to us to share our story of running a Free Open-Source Software development project for MSFS.

Did anybody got an update for the experimental version since using the new installer? With the old version of the installer, I got, at least, one update per day, but now, since 2 days nothing...!

There actually wasn't anything updated since two days (exp). So everything's fine.

Great interview @ Flightsim.com by @Watsi !

I too built up a passion for the Airbus family, modern and "Legacy". Now enjoying the Beluga in XP11, and about to by their A310 too.

In the past my first passion was the 742, then came the BAC 1-11, then the L-1011... In the Boeing family it was also the 721 and 722 that made me dream of a good flight simulator to represent them, in the early nineties.

Interesting to know where you come from @Watsi ?  IT ? Aviation ?

Flightsimming since 1992

Hi there,

Good news for jumbo jet enjoyers! You can now download Salty Sim's Salty 74S from our installer! Simply update the software and share the same convenient modular updates you have with our A32NX.
