Server Disconnection

Featured Replies

While on the ground at any airport I have constant online disconnection issues, as I have been reading around on multiple forums it seems to be a widespread issue - is there anyway to turn off the notification either within the sim settings or through the cfg file? Its so word not allowed annoying when the notification pops up while you're in the middle of setting up a flight!

It's incredibly frustrating at *any* time in the flight. You can be half way through a flight and (after multiple pop-ups) you get taken offline and all your scenery disappears.

I've checked dozens of posts about this issue, but have yet to see any official recognition from Asobo/Microsoft that it's a serious problem. At the moment, MSFS is legally "unfit for the purpose".

I think if that happened to me all the time I would switch back to my Aerofly FS2 because you do not need an internet connection to fly in it after the initial download and install. Aerofly FS4 is to be released soon too.

I am just doing a flight now after applying a fix for the disconnection issue I found last night. All seems well, I haven't had one single disconnection while setting up my flight in the MD-82, which I would have had atleast 5 disconnections during setup.
