Let me just vent here!

Dear Asobo, we understand running servers for a growing community is hard and capacity is limited.

But then please, please re-write the code of MSFS to not harrass me with "Your connection had an issue" popups. It makes flying on impossible and each time I have to enter the pause menu, just to get a mouse cursor and click on "ok".

First of all, my connection is fine. Its your network running out of capacity, not "my connection had a problem".

Second, stop switching me to "offline mode", all I will do is enter my options and change it back, and it works fine. Just reconnect automatically.

thanks.

Is there any option located in any cfg or ini where i can tell MSFS to just reconnect when possible and thats it?

While I share your pain with this, and you may be just venting your justified frustration: -

1.  You are posting in the wrong place for MS/Asobo to see it.

2.  You will just bring the attack dogs onto yourself.  I prefer to call them the pack of Jackals just lately.  Don't dare criticise the sim, whether it is justified or not!

Edit:

Nearly forgot 3.  No known fix at our end!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I dont get it why people always bring up their problems here. Nobody cares about this forum in terms of problems with the (broken) Sim.

Feel free to join the club. But dont expect a quick solution. We all struggle with the ongoing connection problems.

For what it's worth, I had this going on Saturday (for the first time ever).  I shut down and restarted my computer and Razer Central installed an update, which left me wondering if my machine was downloading the Razer update at the same time I was in the sim.  Maybe just coincidence, but the messages disappeared after the restart and update.

And, if you are flying with a Rolling Cache, try turning it off to see if it makes a difference.

It did for me... something is not working well, between my Cache and the MS servers.. 😉

Run this test to see where your connection really stands but I totally agree with you.  Especially the nice one where it forces off photogrammetry.  Now you can go back in the menu and turn it back on (wasn't like that before), it's a pain when this pops up on short final.
