MSFS 1.259.0 DevMode -- QR code and "we're hiring" dialog?

Recommended Posts

Entering Dev mode, anyone else seeing a dialog box stating Asobo is hiring, with a QR scan code in the dialog?

It was a little weird, so I exited MSFS using Task Manager.  This is right after the sim updated itself.

If the pop-up comes again, try to put the screen in windows mode by hitting ALT + ENTER, then close the pop-up window.

So you have seen this too?

I never have.  Well, until now.

Not seen yet myself, but read comments on the twitter account of MSFS Official Support about this new issue, introduced today with the SU9 patch.

It's funny, looking at the link and going back to the page with all the job listings, may of them have been there for well over a year now.

Having to speak French may well be a hindrance to their efforts in hiring decent candidates. (FYI I know someone who went for a job last year, he's more than qualified but couldn't even get an interview because they requested he speak French, he offered to learn, they rejected... the job listing is still there...)

You are lucky! For me it is the unwanted coefficient of drag that results…🤣

In the benefits section:

Snacks, coffee and local products offered by the studio

So you can have them for free 😁

By the way, for this specific job here, French speaking Is a "bonus", not a requirement

Well is a French company and I think also depending on the team, pretty sure there are some teams that are not comfortable with English as the team's language.

My point is they're clearly struggling to hire and fill the gaps, by all means they can hire who they like but maybe they need to rethink the Language barrier.

I tried to access Dev Mode today, and that box popped up, could not be closed (tick box and button non-responsive) and would not let me exit the screen!   In other words, it rendered MSFS dead and I had to close it via the task manager.

As Ed pointed out above, I also relaunched MSFS, put it into Windowed Mode, went back into Dev Mode and could this time close the silly box.

Perhaps the mess up is their way of saying "we really need more people, to help us fix bugs like this!" 🥴😆
