WU IX - Italy/Malta due today 17MAY22

Recommended Posts

I love that they included the Churchtower of Altgraun in the Reschensee. We've been there in the 80's and a picture of it had been hanging in our house for many years. Can't wait to recreate the picture in the sim. 😉

-

Now let's all pressure Frank Dainese to drop devloping for X-Plane exclusively and give us his gorgeous 3-D Mountains in MSFS. I had his freeware Dolomites in FSX and P3D and they were excellent.

maybe they decided to get a LIVE instead

sorry, no offence, just couldn't resist ;-). Does LIVE actually exist in Italy? Oops, again, couldn't resist either

Argh, another bespoke airport that has been done to an incredibly high standard by a freeware developer (LIPB by BMotW in this case). I wish Asobo would pay more attention to which airports already have great representations in the sim and move their focus elsewhere.

Also LICJ which I bought from the marketplace. Can't remember who made it.

Remember, console users can't get freeware airports.

These updates are for all platforms.

But that's not active until Thursday.

I guess they didn't want to do a separate update later.

Looks like it's only Italy. Was there any communication that Malta will be released later?

I have to hand it to Orbx and Gaya sim, getting contracted by Asobo to update default airports in the World Updates was a pure win from a business perspective. Props to them.
