PMDG 737 stuck after landing

Featured Replies

This is really a strange bug. I find that after landing, the aircraft cannot be moved at anything greater than walking speed, even with takeoff thrust applied.

I've checked the parking brake, thrust reversers, etc. and cannot come up with any reason for why it is doing this.

Has anyone else observed this behavior?

Did you check to see if you blew tires?

That can happen in sim?

Happened to me once. I landed with the parking brake applied. As stated, blew the tires.

FS Actions -> Ground Maintenance -> Page 2 - Replaced Tires -> Taxi to gate in shame.

Read the PMDG manuals that came with your plane.  It absolutely is modeled by PMDG and can happen.

I don't have the plane yet. Trying to decide on which to buy (737 or A320) and was intrigued by this revelation.

Hard landings or if your brakes overheat it can also blow the tires.

Go to external view and look at the wheels. If they are glowing orange, use the "Cool brakes" option in the same menu.

They weren't, but I tried it anyway. Still stuck on the runway.

are you 100% sure you don't have conflicting assignments for brakes/parking brakes?

First I would check brake temps and take it from there.
Also, check brake settings calibration. It might be a problem just related to that or other binding.
Do you remember V ref, flap setting, OAT, lndg wt, airport elevation? All these are a factor.
Something to remember, on previous versions (P3D) was an issue.
I can duplicate your flight, I have some time available for the next 5 - 6 hours.
