Online Services are unreachable?

Recommended Posts

I have been active since about 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time with no issues. Just departing now out of Seattle; data services all on; and live weather accurate.

Still offline here in Northern Germany. As it is now past mid-night, I'd better hit the pillow. Let's see, what tomorrow brings 🙂

Well ... I hate to say it, but I'm STILL getting frequent disconnects ON EVERY SINGLE FLIGHT.

This has been going on for over two months now. Will they ever sort this mess out?

And YES ... I've tried all the known tricks/hacks. This is a Microsoft SERVER issue ... and nothing you do locally will have any effect (other than a coincidental/random/temporary placebo improvement).

Same here. On takeoff i get the warning. Anyway the Xbox live system is down again for PC. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status

I keep checking that page too ... but the problem is that it can appear to be OK there, but two minutes later there's another outage. Either that, or the page isn't truly reflecting the state of MSFS connections.

I'm thinking of gathering contributors for a class action, as MSFS+XBox is simply "not fit for the purpose" (or "not of marketable quality").

Yup every time I get an ATC/scenery service disconnect the first thing I do is pause my flight and go look at my wifi status. Everything on my side locally is always working fine.

Sometimes I'll get a successful reconnect after 5 minutes or so...and sometimes I would just totally lose the server side connection.

Either way this could totally ruin a final approach if it occurs around that time, when your photogrammetry is struggling to load the best coverage.

This has happened to me twice during final approach into very dense urban city around Congconhas Airport Sao Paulo, Brazil. Where either the photogrammetry can load and look stunning or you get half arsed offline terrain loading it looks terrible.

The rolling cache option just seems to load crappier quality terrain than having it completely off using full online streaming.

Well I'm not sure what's going on in that area. I've seen horrible looking cityscape descending into Sao Paulo after streaming disconnects and I've seen densely packed fully loaded beautiful cityscape with no disconnects.
