I’ve done a side-by-side comparison between Navigraph and actual Jeppesen charts and have always found they correspond exactly. (I manage all the Jeppesen nav data and chart subscriptions for a corporate flight department). In January of 2021 the two ILS approaches at my home airport KELM underwent a major redesign of the entry procedures. The new version appeared in the official Jeppesen chart release and in Navigraph charts at exactly the same time.

It is important to note that the effectivity date shown on a Jeppesen chart may be months in the past. It shows the date that the the chart was last updated. If there have been no revisions to the procedure since the last update, the date does not change. In the case of the two ILS approaches at KELM, the effectivity date in “25 DEC 20”, but the charts are still the most current ones for these runways.

One note here about Navigraph and MSFS... The other day I was making a flight into KBWI.  Navigraph had a plan for me to arrive onto.. rnwy 33L.   Im like ok cool.   Well I get on the approach (during the day) and realize that in MSFS.. This rnwy 33L is now a taxiway or a bare strip where the runway used to be.  I do not personally live anywhere near the real KBWI airport so I dont have any first hand knowledge.  You think its a MSFS error?

Yes, a MSFS error. Runway 33L/15R is definitely a current and active runway at KBWI and has been for years. It may have under construction/reconstruction when the satellite photo was taken that MSFS is based on. There is one (former) runway (04/22) at KBWI that is now partly a taxiway.

Same happens to LPBJ since WU9. Navigraph has it as well as the published SID / STAR, but the airbase is no longer represented in MFS...

I too use Navigraph for updates to the FMC database and the ease of accessing charts, can't live without it

ah yes I did not think of that.  It is not an option for a runway in MSFS nor is it depicted in the scenery.  And yea a lot of the larger metro airports did away with their smaller crosswind runways.  Like down here in KMSY.. There used to be a cool little GA runway intersecting the main 11-29.  They did away with that 15 years ago or more.

There is a free update for KBWI at flightsim.to that appears to fix the problem. It is by a developer called “Watsupsceneries”. I just installed it and it adds the missing runway 15R/33L, as well as fixing several taxiway problems. It does require Navigraph replacement MSFS navdata for the ILS to work properly.
