July 13, 20223 yr Hey guys,Running into an issue with the AI FAIB 747 GE (passenger variant) model being invisible in the sim (using p3dv4)I can see it under the AI Traffic but when I go to that plane, its invisible.Plane is installed correctly and aicraft.cfg matches texture file, etc.Any ideas???
July 13, 20223 yr That sounds like a model issue. Which model is it (200/400/8)? Have you installed it through the AIG OCI Manager, or have you added it manually? July 13, 20223 yr Author 747-400 GE Well, it was installed via OCI, I copied and pasted it into my own AI in simobjects folder, deleted OCI file and have a few paints installed on it. I also downloaded the FAIB 747-400 GE model directly from the FAIB website and tried that...........nothing.

July 15, 20223 yr Delete that folder and then let AIM verify all files. It will re-download your files for the FAIB 744 GE. July 15, 20223 yr For the FAIB 747-400, there are a total of 7 folders: 747-400 GE 747-400 PW 747-400 RR 747-400D GE 747-400F GE 747-400F PW 747-400F RR None of these folder should be deleted. I would encourage the OP to re-download the repaints in question, making doubly sure they are for P3D, and then, in the 747-400 GE folder delete only those repaints and re-install them from the downloads. Sometimes doing this manually beats the hell out of doing it by AIM.... Jorgen
July 16, 20223 yr Author Already did all of the above, no luck. i saw it taxiing at mco, you can see the nav lights and beacon lights. it also taxied very odd and did not follow the taxiways and went across the grass then disappeared. this is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen and as far as I know only affects all FAIB 747-400 GE paints
