Anyway, welcome, and I agree it can be a bit overwhelming at first, but stick with it and I'm sure you'll have a whale of a time. I'm probably not the guy to answer many, if any, of your questions as from what I remember you're pretty serious about your flying, whereas I'm completely the opposite. I do use the drone camera a lot though, so I'll take a look tomorrow at how I've got it set up - I'm sufficiently familiar with my own shortcuts now that I can't remember how I set everything up but I'll check it out and get back to you. What I would say though is that an X-Box type controller is magic for use with the drone camera. You can pick up a third party wireless one for maybe 25 bucks and it makes that whole process much easier and useful. And as has been mentioned, if you find yourself getting a few addons the addons linker is indispensable. cheers, Andy Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. I have an old wired Xbox controller, it's USB, I reckon it'll work, haven't tried it yet. Been way too busy with other things in life. I've made some test flights around Atlanta in the Cirrus and it's amazing, I'm blown away. Jack Sawyer

Can I invoke the Drone camera via keyboard? Drone Mode - similar functionally as 'slew' (the 'y' key) --- End - takes you to outside the plane, external view (this is a toggle key) Insert - goes to drone mode w,a,s,d - moves drone forward, sideways left, backwards, sideways right r,f - moves the drone upward, downward Num 4, Num 6 - controls plane yaw (moves nose left or right) Num 2, Num 8 - controls plane pitch (moves nose up or down) On the Game Bar (that downward pointing arrow that magically appears when you move the cursor to the top of the screen) --click on the camera icon --select Drone speed to adjust the speed of the drone Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. August 2, 20223 yr Sorry about the delay in responding after my previous comment Jack, but @bofhlusr has effectively said what I was going to. I knew I used the "ins" key to go into drone mode but just assumed it was another of the many commands I mapped myself. Had forgotten it is a built-in key. So yes, "ins" to go into drone mode and then you could map the various other keys to your PS5 controller, assuming it is similar to an X-Box controller. Having the two controller joysticks moving the view around interactively makes it easy to get some great shots. One other key not mentioned, I don't think, was "Num 5" to put the drone camera back to it's default position, slightly above and behind the aircraft. Handy to do before coming out of drone mode otherwise the view position you go back into may not be the one you were in before invoking the drone. Is it possible to invoke Full Screen with the keyboard like in FSX and P3D? 11. And finally, I don't understand the Drone mode. No matter what keyboard commands I invoke when in "Showcase" or Drone mode none of them work. So first and foremost, I printed out a keyboard command cheat sheet for MSFS here: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/reference-keyboard-shortcuts-guide/167151 2. The smart camera will focus on something special in the view, like fauna, if there is something like that in the view. Personally, I never really use it. It could be useful for bush trips. But honestly, if you don't do bush trips, or any of the other special activities in MSFS, you don't need the smart camera. 5. This one is useful. Once you save a custom camera position, you can recall that camera position. Look for what the save customer camera is bound to, and what the recall of that custom camera position is bound to (ie. you can check the keyboard command cheat sheet above). 10. Alt-Enter works for me. 11. I usually start drone mode by going to Camera in the menu. There should be a section in the Camera menu where you can select drone mode. Once in drone mode, use the corresponding keys to move the drone. Check the keyboard command cheat sheet above. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

August 2, 20223 yr Welcomer to the Dark Side Jack.😀 MSFS does some things differently. As other posters have mentioned there are plenty of YT videos out there on MSFS & specific aircraft you can use in MSFS. Plus you can search threads in Avsim & MSFS Forums for answers to some queries. Good luck Take slow steps. Suggest you get an aircraft you like & 'learn' MSFS on that.
