PC Pilot review

Recommended Posts

Not sure if any of you guys have seen it...

The Fulcrum yoke has been reviewed in the hardware section of the current PC Pilot...

It comes out with a superb review, in all departments...overall a resounding 96/100...

I own a winner!!

Hopefully that helps to spread the word. Would have been nice for this kind of publicity before the Throttle kickstarter.

Thanks both, we have been pushing for reviews with various platforms for a while, hopefully word will get out faster and more outlets will want to review it. I haven't read it yet as I have a digital subscription and it wasn't out yesterday. Haven't checked today as I have been busy with the 737 yoke.....still am in fact.

I knew as soon as I tried the prototype at Cosford in 2018 Chris was onto a winner! 👍

What didn’t they like that knocked 4 points off? 😁

I can't read it as it's behind their subscription pay wall, but here is the link for those who can access it. Perhaps there'll be a point in time when Chris is permitted to post it here or on the Fulcrum site.

If I were removing 4 points from a review it would be for the fact I have caught my fingers on the toggle switches a number of times and once actually slit my finger open. I would recommend them being filed into a round shape as they are very sharp edges. I could file mine myself but as it's still under warranty...

But that doesn't affect my wholehearted recommendation to buy it.

Sadly I subscribed through pocket mags on my ipad and it seems I can't access that link. We have yet to receive our copy as the official release date is the 18th August.

Hi Ray,

I bought the yoke because I read your comments and watched the video that Chris published.

Thanks, now that's customer service.😊👍

Could be just the way I move my hands in the vicinity of the yoke, but if I quickly move (to turn around or grab something beside me), I have a tendency to sometimes glance the top of the yoke with my hand. It's a skim rather than a knock, but the point I always seem to contact is the trim switches! If, like me, you were unlucky enough to contact them with the pad of a finger, you'd know what I mean. Nippy!😬

I may be a minority of one on this though, so I welcome the file approval.😁

Well, that's not bad is it? Platinum Award! I'm going to see what we can do regarding reproducing it but I expect they want the reader which you can't blame them for.

I did notice that when A.N.Other product received an update, the review of the original wasn't behind the paywall, so they may make it available eventually (but maybe you'd have to update the yoke first!😊). I think the least they could do is let you share an excerpt from it, with a link to the full article on their site. But that's obviously up to them.

This site has reproduced the PC Pilot review presumably with permission. That should help sales Chris. 😁
