August 13, 20223 yr Bought the EMB110 on the Microsoft store in the game. It only has two liveries, both cargo. I downloaded a livery from the Flightsim.to site and extracted it to the Community folder per the instructions. But when I load the sim and select the EMB 110 this livery is not there. Any suggestions on what is wrong? August 13, 20223 yr Author It's the Flybe livery My system specs: Intel [email protected] - 5.2 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Noctua NH-D15 CPU Cooler,1TB Seagate SSD, 4TB Seagate HD, Windows 10, Asus 32 inch monitor, Saitek Yoke, Throttle Quadrant, Rudder Pedals and Trim Wheel Sims: MSFS2020 Preferred Aircraft Black Square Bonanza, and Baron, A2A Comanche, PMDG DC-6, Red Wing L1049
August 13, 20223 yr There are 3 EMB-110 variants in the NextGen plane, the EMB-110P, EMB-110P1 & the EMB-110P1K (P1 Freighter). Make sure the livery you get is for the version of the EMB you want to fly and make sure you are selecting the correct variant aircraft in the the aircraft selection window. Edit: BTW, on the NextGen Discord the following was posted: Quote EMB-110 Bandeirante I wanted to bring you the following surprise once a very advanced stage of development has been reached, but due to the “impatience” of most users, I will do that right now. We are currently working on a version 2.0. Yes, you read well. We are working on the EMB-110 v2 for MSFS (simultaneously with the S340, so do not worry as it is still in progress), and the big reason we decided to work on it, is to remaster texture sets and to perform improvements to the model, textures and the product in general. As you might have seen in the exclusive-previews channel, we are retexturing the radios initially, since we have finally started to work with Adobe’s Substance 3D for the first time. Additionally, the following items are being addressed: 1. The EFB screen. This must be re-done in WASM, as part of the technologies upgrade to the gauges. 2. The @TDSSim's GTNXi integration. 3. Weather Radar. This long-awaited feature will begin development after the stable SU10 is publicly released. 4. Product documentation. It is being redone for better accuracy and explanation about the product, and to include the possibility to view the documentation online in HTML form, and not only in PDF. Additionally, we plan to add a special section in the product’s documentation to expose the most relevant localvars for use with the Steam Deck or that kind of hardware, so you can interact without hassle. 5. Fuel system & modern turboprop / CFD models. 6. Revise 3D model issues, including (but not limited to) icing FX. 7. Stall warning gauge, which we were never aware of. 8. Some more fixes to be performed. Now, for those who ask whether this upgrade will be paid or free… For now, what I can tell is that the regular price of the product will be dropped a bit once this v2 is released. But we are evaluating this, due to the major rework to be done in the product. It's very exciting but at the same time very unsettling to think they may be even considering charging for an update. I hope they think twice about that. Edited August 13, 20223 yr by Phantoms James
August 13, 20223 yr I won't be paying for it twice. If Black Box can bring out a vastly superior BN-2 version 2, with far more fixes and improvements, at no extra charge, then these should support the customer in the same way, or else it is the last purchase from me. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's. Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
August 13, 20223 yr I'd be interested in the V2 of this E-110. i flew one the getter part of 30 years ago for approx 1800 hours. Great airplane.
August 13, 20223 yr They answered on their discord regarding paying for the update: Regarding that part of paid upgrade, we had to fully discard this option, but mostly due to the strategy from Microsoft itself. So we must offer it as free, for good. While I think that's a good outcome, the fact that they even considered making it a paid update turns my stomach a little. James

Interesting comment. “what turns my stomach a little” is expecting people to work for nothing. I’ve never worked for nothing and I wouldn’t expect others to do so.

However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I paid for this plane (which was on the high side) and I expect updates and fixes (of which it really needs) to be included. James

Interesting. Phantom: I’d have the choice whether I’d want to pay for it and that is what is present with V2 here which is different than a bug fix. As to updates that’s up to the developer to decide whether to charge and to you as to whether to purchase. As the saying goes: Vote with your wallet. Fiorentoni: Updates are included with the purchase of the product.
August 14, 20223 yr Author I think the issue is what will the mods consist and what will the quality of the new plane be. I have purchased the 110 in it's current "un updated" configuration and am quite happy that I have gotten value for money. JustFlight charges several dollars more for a single engine GA plane. If the new EMB 110 is of a similar quality I for one would be happy to pay for the additional functionality and texture quality. We don't wish to drive away developers who are producing A/C of greater quality. But it seems this is all an academic discussion as Microsoft have vetoed the additional price. V2 will include the blank weather radar actually working, something they stated since the EMB-110 came out that they would add once the SDK permitted. So that is an update/fix, not a new version thing. The sound issues (of which I'm actually ok with the sounds) were also stated to be fixed in the future. Again, an update/fix and not a new version thing. Can you imagine every developer releasing a plane and then any fixes/updates being considered a new version that you have to purchase the plane again? That's what turns my stomach, the fact that once a few start doing this then more and more will. Edited August 14, 20223 yr by Phantoms James
