August 31, 20223 yr Hi everyone, Been on MSFS for ages now but looking forward to XP12 release due to the superior flight model etc. Curious which aircraft we expect to be compatible early on? I’ve seen Toliss 319/321 will be hopefully from day one. I’d love to think Zibo wouldn’t take long. I really miss the classic IXEG 737 but know development isn’t particularly speedy of late but that would be great! Ian.
August 31, 20223 yr If it works in 11 should work in 12. I think most changes will be to upgrade to any new things Laminar added. Engine change etc and cosmetics.
August 31, 20223 yr Define day one, is that the early release beta day or the official non-beta release day which is several weeks/months after? Edited August 31, 20223 yr by peroni

Did try it some 10 yrs ago, and I got seasick 🙂 But a multi-panel setup and a good helicopter conmtroller would be great to have if I had the space and the money 🙂 Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I use the puma controls myself (love them) and that combined with the depth perception you get with VR makes a huge difference in heli flying, esp trying to land on a platform like one on a oil rig, or a moving boat. Everyone's sensitivity to motion sickness is different and I've heard from several people that just can't get over the nausea. Conversely, I have heard from an equal number that find it passes once you spend enough time to get used to it. The equipment and experience have improved dramatically from they way it was 10 years ago. The highest end stuff isnt cheap, but even the lower end ones in the $300 dollar range are much better than the older technology. Find an electronics store with a generous return policy? 🤷♂️

I have been using vr from the very start when Oculus was in the development state(before meta or Facebook) and I could never ever go back to flat screens again. I have through the years figured out how to access pretty much everything in X-Plane, P3D and MSFS using hot keys. I just can’t go back. I do know what you mean about the seasickness though, I got pretty sick in some race simulators, like throwing up sick. ROG MAXIMUS X HERO, Intel Core i7 8700K, 32 GB's 3200 RAM, Gigabyte RTX3080,
